This description might be seen as a data-entry job, but it's really ideal for a transcriptionist with text expander experience. The candidate will selectively assign pre-defined data to digital assets -- including captions and keywords -- using a text-expander program. He/she will be required to securely download the assets to their local drive, analyze them, and enter data where instructed, according to a pre-defined set of rules. The candidate will also be responsible for proofing the entries for accuracy. Much of the process is automated, however, the candidate will enter data using a rules-based approach and make manual modifications to text when outside the scope of the rules. Therefore, strong analytical, writing, and grammar skills are a must. PC users with knowledge of the Windows system are preferred. Knowledge of a scripting language is not necessary, but is a plus.
