Hi there, I am going to be in Korea for the first time between May5th and May 15th to attend the Seoul Food and Hotel trade show at the Kintex (May 10th to 13th). I'm looking for someone to help me at my meetings before, during and after the trade show (but mostly at the trade show) to translate between myself (English) and Korean visitors and also talking to potential customers about our products (so you will study our materials before hand). There will be potential customers walking the floor, who speak both Korean and English (and in some cases, Mandarin Chinese) and you need to have the energy to engage with them and tell them about our product. I think the trade show will be busy from morning to late afternoon. I am looking for someone two help on at least two days of the show as I may have someone already helping on two days. I will be at the show with you. Payment for this project is $150 USD and payment is done by Upwork at the end of the show/project. If you come to help with additional meetings before the show or on the day after (on the Saturday, May 14th) then I will pay some additional as well. Please submit a cover letter with your application to tell me why you are the best person for this job and if you are familiar with Canadian food products. Please answer "what is 2+2" at the top of your cover letter so I know you read to the bottom of this posting. Thank you for applying!

We are an English Language School in the capital of the USA -- Washington, DC. We recently traveled to an international education conference in Seoul and met many Korean agents. Some have sent students; however, we could be more successful with a Korean-speaking professional Sales person working for us in Korea. The primary tasks, in order of priority, would be: 1) follow up with our leads (Study Abroad agents). 2) generate new leads (research the market) 3) translate our website into Korean and develop a plan to directly market to Korean students rather than having to go to agencies 4) Develop a social media strategy for us and post on Korean Social Media.
