I've completed a 250 page DIY book, an update on previous works I've put up on Lulu.com. While I understand some basics of fonts i.e. serifs in books are easier to read, the interior of the book still has an amateurish quality to it. Some of the paragraphing is a little weird, etc.
I have attached a selection of pages that I would ask you to review and let me know (or show me, you can convert to .docx from PDF) how you would improve the interior of this print book. Ideally, you would make it easier to change to an ebook when necessary.
If you happen to be a proofreader who is passionate about changing passive voice to active voice this would be an opportunity as well. This proofreading part, however, can be separate as the medical and pharmacologic terminology is especially complex and might require a specialist ability.
I don't mean to insult you by saying it will take less than a week, but I really have no idea how long it takes to format a book in Word because it might just be some repetition of a framework, I don't really know, so that's more of a "I have to check a box."
