I'm looking for an experienced Mobile developer who can assist me with work on a mobile game for iOS and Android. It's to be AR, in the same sense that Pokémon Go is, using the camera and overlaying things onto the view.
It's not using GPS, it will instead use a timer or the pedometer to assess whether you have an encounter.
I am a Project Manager in Software Development and a former developer, so I do have a rough idea about how long this could take, and I have made a list of high-level requirements.
In short, you move around, and the app decides whether you encounter something. Basic "character Creation" kind of options - a model and so on that you can customise to a degree.
That thing appears on the screen and moves around and you have to press your finger on the screen and follow it as best you can as a mini-game (time limited).
It can interface with a "master device" via Wi-Fi if the user gets close enough to restock the items needed to grab the things you encounter (perhaps will eventually be freemium, but sure ain't yet!).
If possible, I'd like for it to be able to receive and display Push messages.
I'm going to leave the price flexible, but I have to put in a value, so I'm going to put in a total finger-in-the-air estimate for the time being (as my requirements won't fit in this box!). If you feel it's wrong, please say so.
Overall, I don't expect this to be too difficult, if people can figure out the AR aspect, I've kept the logic pretty simple.
I would like this to be a fixed price project.
