We have a simple memory game that we created in Unity. It was built as a learning project for some intermediate devs but the client likes it and would like us to use a more experienced developer to add in common game functionality—registration (with Facebook and Twitter), connection to Facebook Game Services (leaderboards and achievements). And to help improve the overall user experience with better animations and more variety in the gameplay. The game itself is pretty simple, multiple choice, but it can get boring pretty quickly. Adding more robust animations to the scoring system. Nicer transitions between levels. And a wider variety of in-game variations of the basic game play would be very helpful to the overall experience. Intermediate knowledge of Japanese language, particularly beginner knowledge of Japanese reading and writing would be a definite plus. Advanced knowledge of Japanese would be ideal.

This is a Prototype that will lead to further development of a complete game. Our company is a game studio and we are starting development of a product suite for a large brand. We are looking for a long term relationship and ongoing work. See the attached document for the full game concept that we need to build towards (most of which is not in scope for this prototype project) This project consists of creating a basic functional bubble pop game that has some of the basic mechanics laid out in the full game specification including: - 2d Play area (orthographic) - 3d Bubbles and Balls - 3d Characters that interact when launching bubbles - 3d Characters that are suspended in the bubbles and drop when all bubbles are removed around them - Parts of the Environment protrude (Trees or something) that the bubbles can bounce off of - Level stretches past the screen so you can launch bubbles above the active play area and ricochet off of the environment that is out of the view area. The camera should follow the bubble as it does this and then follow the ball back down and hit the bubbles from the top. The camera should then pan down to the bottom Please see the attached document for more information Technology Requirements ======================== -Must be developed in Unity 3d C# -Can use the Unity Asset Store but any purchases need to be pre-approved. There are some Bubble pop games which may provide a good starting point.
