We’re developing an indie PC/VR game using photogrammetry for a gritty, photographic, neo-noir look while heavily focusing on ‘hard-hitting’, ultra-violent, fluid animation. We’re done with the initial functionality, and most of the modeling, for this stage of the project, but we need assistance with the *character animation* workload. The material you’ll be in charge of is going to be the showcase of a Kickstarter campaign gameplay trailer, so it needs to look super polished. I have a very specific list of animations that need to be edited/created, and they need to be properly optimized and tested to be used in Unreal.
Main skills needed:
- Expert 3D animation
- Knowledgeable in exporting/importing, testing and working within Unreal Engine
I have an experienced programmer onboard, but since it’s my first time as a full-on designer, you need to be OK with some ambiguity at the beginning of the job. So I’m looking for a freelancer who’s not only what we need technically but also creatively. In other words, some creative initiative and assistance will be expected.
