I am searching for an expert in the Amazon Web Services world. We're looking to move our WordPress website over to AWS, and develop a Virtual Private Cloud for our small business. We need someone who will log into our AWS account and build out our network with 1 EC2 Instance, and 1 MySQL DB Server. Set up Amazon CloudFront, Route 53 DNS, and a small Virtual Private Cloud for our company. We currently run our website on AWS via a company called Cloudways (like Pagely, etc..). We would like our web server setup similar (if not better) that the Cloudways Thunderstack, which leverages: Apache, NGINX, Varnish Cache, Redis, Memchached, and MariaDB (we are open to using MySQL too), PHP-FPM, Fast-CGI. The bottom line is speed. Our WordPress website is very resource intensive and utilizes about 40 plugins to keep it online. It's very heavily run by WooThemes WooCommerce. All of our plugins are Premium Paid, and are written with excellent code. Currently, our website is doing very well on AWS. Which is why we want to continue to use AWS, but want to build out our own environment. More information on the Cloudways Thunderstack can be found here: https://www.cloudways.com/en/cloud-infrastructure-platform.php NGINX+ is also very attractive. Although it is not used by Cloudways. I am not very knowledgable on AWS or best practices. so I am open to any and all expert recommendations. I am very seriously about getting this up and running, and would like to move forward immediately. Moving forward. I will be looking to use you as a system admin when needing to make changes. Experience with WordPress is also a plus, as I am looking for a freelance web developer to fix problems as they manifest themselves.

Hello! I have a website currently running on a LEMP server with Magento 1.9.2.4 and wordpress. This is a live website and I need some tweaks/configurations for it, so it can run more fluid and smoothly. My website is currently running with: Ubuntu 16.04 UFW PHP 5.6 FPM (as FastCGI) Nginx 1.10 MySQL 5.7 PHPMyAdmin 4.6 Memchached 2 This job is for configuring/optimize Redis, Memcached, Varnish (with Turpentine https://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/turpentine-varnish-cache.html), MySQL Caching, InnoDB, Nginx, FastCGI, OPCache in my LEMP server running Magento. Magento is a robust CMS framwork that takes lots of resources from a server, so to run it in a low-RAM server, many configurations needs to be done, and lots of caching, that's why I need someone who has experience with Magento, because Magento needs to be properly configure to run smoothly in my server. As for now, my website is running without SSL cert, but later this week/next week I'll be adding CloudFlare's free SSL, and a self-cert between my server and CloudFlare's server. So this also needs to be consider when configuring everything All the configurations must be done consedering my 1GB RAM server, and I'm also gonna need custom configurations for when I upgrade my RAM (for 2GB, 4GB and 8GB). Fixed price only.

RACEPLACE CDN Project Summary: We have our main site (raceplace.com) which is on rub on rails. We have a Wordpress blog (blog.raceplace.com/lifestyle) We would like to serve the blog in a subfolder of raceplace.com so whenever that subfolder is entered, the blog would serve from raceplace.com/lifestyle instead of blof.raceplace.com/lifestyle We will use a CDN (Fastly) and will point the blog (blog.raceplace.com/lifestyle) to Fastly. Fastly will then allow us to proxy the blog so that when anything serving from the subfolder raceplace.com/lifestyle will hit the CDN and serve up the blog so that the session stays on the main domain raceplace.com. The goal is to serve everything to the end consumer from raceplace.com/lifestyle for SEO purposes and to speed up the blog by using the CDN. Objectives: 1. Integrating CDN (Fastly) with heroku and WPEngine(blog). 2. Make the correct changes to DNS settings so that it points to fastly. 3. Make sure proxied site isnt indexed by search engines (Read this article to achieve this http://blog.reachlocal.com/reachlocal-cto-spotlight-reverse-proxy-does-not-affect-your-sites-organic-rank) 4.Make sure blog.raceplace.com/lifestyle has an SSL wildcard certificate applied so that it renders https:// Support Docs: These documents help explain exactly how this should be done successfully https://robots.thoughtbot.com/dns-cdn-origin http://jonathanjulian.com/2015/01/fastly-rails/ https://robots.thoughtbot.com/a-guide-to-caching-your-rails-application-with-fastly
