I have developed a Macro to generate, starting from a given dataset, an output file.
The Macro works properly, but requires some optimization and further developments:
At the current time the end-user is requested to input data via Message Boxes (Input Box). The freelancer should replace the several Message Boxes with one well designed and well structured Form, in which a number of files are displayed together and input can be entered all at once.
The developer is also requested to set-up a number of checks that prevent the system to crash (e.g. entry field cannot be left empty)
2) FURTHER DEVELOPMENTS
In terms of developments the freelancer is requested to develop an additional Form used to enter values (in percentage terms) against quarters.
Here some context information: the Macro will save accounting data concerning the financial utilization of a number of tasks assigned to purchase orders. These tasks are developed over a period of time that can be 1 month as well as 16 month. Such period of time is organized in quarters (the macro already provides such aggregation). The number of quarters cannot be pre-defined. The form should then be flexible, and show as many quarters as the ones available in the data-set.
This means, for examples, that for one task the end-user will enter activity split against 3 quarters, while for other tasks will enter the activity split against 5 quarters.
The Form should then adapt to the number of lines (number of relevant quarters).
