Hi We are currently using sharepoint to track some client data such as names, dates and value of projects. Sharepoint outputs to excel, but this file needs editing to add headers and footers, order the various columns, and format the document. I'm looking for someone who's an excel whizz, who can write a macro to cut out this manual formatting of the file. The macro should: - add a header and footer - sort the data by certain cells (by stage, then by date) - hide some columns and resize others to make them readable - add two graphs, one bar chart, one pie chart, based on the data in the document.

I have an Excel file that stores multiple values for a field as comma separated values within a cell. I need to have the data normalized such that the single sheet containing all the data gets broken out in to several sheets (i.e. tables) that contain make the data relational. Specifically, one column contains multiple categories and one column contains multiple emails. I need this such that we give ids to businesses and ids to unique categories, add a join table to show the relationship between tables and categories. Then, I need another table that has one row per email per business. I've attached a sample of how the data will look. Essentially the first sheet is what I'll give you, and the format of the output will be like the next four sheets. There will be approximately 500,000 rows in total, so obviously this needs to be done programmatically. Thanks.

On the New Tab: We need to build a new tab in a workbook used for invoice and project tracking for commission tracking and recording, which must have the following capabilities: 1. Record of commissions owed and their source (pulled from "Full Itinerary" tab) 2. A place to record multiple commission payments when received (allowing that one vendor may have multiple payments) 3. An entry for date payments are expected. 4. A display indicating which payments are outstanding and their value On the VBA Macro: For the same invoice template that you will be working on to add a new tab, we want to have a macro...

Looking for someone to develop the code in Excel VBA that will allow a user to automatically create a layout in the following sense. The code would allow a user to specify or draw a shape according to a scale set by the user. The code would then allow the user to specify or draw shapes within the larger, initial shape, positioning the shapes in relation to a reference point on the larger shape. The user would specify the dimensions for a rectangle. The code would then fill in the larger shape with the specified rectangles row by row from top to bottom without overlapping the other shapes drawn in the larger shape by the user. The challenge is that using the dimensions properties - .Top, .Left, etc. - to calculate borders will not work for non-rectangular shapes such as trapezoids. Respondents have suggested using geometry to determine borders which is fine for trapezoids, rectangles, triangles or equilaterals, but not for complex shapes, e.g. a trapezoid and rectangle combined or...
