Venterra Realty recently had 95% of its properties awarded as Top Rated on ApartmentRatings.com for excellence in customer reviews. To showcase this great honor, we are wanting to create a video that highlights the 39 apartment communities that received this recognition.
We are exploring the idea of doing some type of progressive video or one that connects our properties or regions to each other. See example in the attachment. We like the idea of having a theme – something that ties the properties together with the same message/pattern. One idea we have is finding an object (maybe a box) that can be “passed” to each property and when you watch, it gives the illusion that the person in the previous clip is handing it to the person in the next.
To achieve this, we could do 1 of 3 options.
1. Geographic - Center the video around each region rather than per property. We have 5 regions and 30 properties that made Top Rated. Rather than videoing each property, we would select 1 or 2 from each region to be showcased in the video.
2. Collage - Have each location saying the same thing “We’re Top Rated!” and do a collage where they’re all saying it at the same time or overlapping. You could start with one clip, and then show another, then double up, and finally pan out to where all locations are saying it at the same time, and the viewer would see a “collage” of all properties.
3. Progressive - Using the box or object concept, we would have a progressive video that goes from one location to another. Each group “handing off” the object to the next. - If we do this type of video, we would select a handful of properties and possibly give them t-shirts to wear or pull out of the box that show Top Rated on them.
We would like to get a quote on what it would cost to film in a couple of locations in 5 different states (Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Florida). Please let us know if you have any questions or have any other ideas that might be good for a video that showcases our people and this award.
