Gaining Ground Investments is a real estate investment company that buys and sells raw, vacant land in the US. We are looking for a virtual assistant to handle our phone communication with both sellers and potential buyers. We get calls from both owners of real estate that would like to sell their properties to us, as well as from people interested in buying the properties we have acquired. We have some systems set up to minimize the amount of calls we get, but there is still the need for a good assistant that can both answer calls directly and follow up on people that leave voicemails. We are looking for a native/bilingual English speaker that can easily handle most types of people on the phone. We also need someone that can make outbound calls during normal US business hours. We use Podio as our CRM and project management software and Google apps (Gmail, Drive, Sheets and Docs) to handle our e-mail and business files. We also have two websites set up with Wordpress. I'm looking for someone who can help me with my online business as I'm expanding and it's getting a lot to handle. I would describe this as an Editorial Assistant type of position. This would initially be a part time freelance position but with potential for a long-term regular position with time. As my business is expanding, I'll have more and more work and we can make this a firm position if this collaboration is a good fit. Tasks would include things like formatting articles, managing social media, creating/sourcing images, creating inspirational quote images based in previous articles, possibly some email based customer support.
