Using 3Ds Max 2015 and V-Ray 3.20. I am trying to merge an object from one scene into another scene, but after merging it in, it renders in black. I have added path to the textures so the issue appears to be something else. The material is a multi/subobject of 3 sub-materias (blend, raytrace and standard). It renders properly in the original scene, but not in any other scene after merging it in. I need help with fixing this, possibly over a quick skype call.

I have a Sketchup scene for a building that I would like an expert to render using a Sketchup plugin such as Indigo or V-Ray. The primary reason for rendering is to see the impact of some new RGB LED strip fixtures and some LED sconces. To accomplish this, I need proper light-source rendering of the RGB LEDs. The customer would like a nighttime rendering as well as daytime. I have a bit of experience in Sketchup, but I have no idea how to correctly configure materials, sun, and light sources properly in Indigo. I have placed detailed explanation of this project into a dropbox folder. The link is here... https://www.dropbox.com/sh/q26qkieahnt5lur/AAC3EBJel9ziW6iwfR5JjhGua?dl=0 The explanation file is Information.mht. Any browser should open the file. It has lots of pictures and explanation of what I have done so far...and what the expectation is. I will have ongoing work for someone that has these skills. I prefer to keep Sketchup as the source file. I hope this can be done without having to export SU to another format before rendering. I have not tried other renderers for Sketchup, but I know that Indigo is very fast. I never wait for more than 2 minutes to get an acceptable rendering for my purposes. I would think this is a very quick project for someone who knows what they are doing. The deliverable is mostly just to get my SU model of the LED right so I can render anything I want myself. UPDATE 1: It looks like I was wrong about .mht files opening with "any browser". See Readme.txt in the dropbox. UPDATE 2: I have added the datasheet for this RGB LED Module to dropbox link. Please take the light output data from there. UPDATE 3: I am aware that a Google search has results that indicate some usable IES files for physically similar RGB strips may exist. I do however find an IES specifically for the APA102. Not sure if this is helpful or not, but thought I would add this.
