Hi there, our team recently started using www.checkfront.com to manage our equipment rentals. Here is the page that you will be redesigning: https://lenslockers.checkfront.com/reserve/ . Since this is going to be the front-end and what customers immediately see, we'd like to make a few changes to make the page look more pleasant.
I am not sure what the best way to do this is. Initial guess was that it is possible to have CSS implemented onto the actual booking page. If not, perhaps we can integrate it into wordpress, since that will be the CMS on which the rest of the site is being built.
The changes that we're looking for are fairly simple, ex. make the categories tab bigger, maybe changing the look (not function) of the calendar, editing the header to be more pleasing to the eye, etc. I can provide a simple PSD of the design that we're going for.
In addition, I am curious about the possibilities of syncing communication between this platform (Checkfront.com) and another platform (Ezrentout.com). These are the two platforms that we are currently using the manage the rental process, we'd like information such as booking requests, customer information, dates, availability, and confirmation information between the two to be shared, such that both are updated if there is a change on one of the platforms. Both have API documentation that you can look through to see if this is possible.
In applying for the job could you describe the possibility of 1) modifying the look of the rental page & 2) connecting the two software applications.
Even if the project is not possible; if you can provide strong insights into what the possibilities are and what we can do regarding these two aspects; I will be willing to compensate you for your time.
