I have a VPS with 10+ business sites running on it. All sites use wordpress. It has WHM and cpanel accounts As you are probably aware there are a lot of vulnerabilities in wordpress. The server has various methods to combat the issues and most of the sites are up to date with the latest versions and plugins. Occasionally though a client won't have an up to date wordpress site/plugin, a script will be uploaded which will send spam emails which if left can result in a blacklist. I require basic server monitoring whilst I am away for the next 2 weeks. The likelihood is that you won't have to do anything. There is an automated email on the server which emails if it detects a large number of emails attempting to be sent. Duties will include: - Removing malicious files (if any reported) - Taking the server IP off all major blacklists, gmail etc (if this happens) - Any other issues related to the above. All the sites on the server must be running as normal and the email should be...

looking for help tuning up our hosting platform. We use Amazon EC2 to host a CentOS Server running WHM/cPanel for the purpose of creating VM's for our clients. Then each client normally hosts a Wordpress site, where we have set up and configured APC cache on the server to help with page load times. I feel that we may have not configured this hosting environment properly and could possibly benefit from someone taking a look at our setup and changing some configurations or making recommendations for improvement. Technologies used: - CentOS - WHM/cPanel - Cache (APC) - LAMP - Amazon EC2
