The goal : Control the wifi light switches using our own app. Current Scenario: We currently have wifi controlled light switches, which needs home wifi to work wirelessly , the manufacture has an app to control the switches. Which is basically turing them off & on wirelessly using wifi. The set up has there parts, 1. App. 2. Hoem router 3. Wifi Switches. I need to create an app which would control the switches. I will provide you the link to already existing app. Some documentation from the manufacturer of the switches. Will provide the switches if you need to test them.

I need to know what data is being sent from an app. You can download the app from the link below. The apps function is to turn on/off light switches. The app connects with the light switches through home wifi & then can tun it on/off wirelessly. My goal is to use my own app to control the switches, I'm welcoming any kind solution or workarounds to achieve this. PS. You would just have to show either what data is being sent by the app or how to turn on/off light using our own app. App Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wifisocket&;hl=en

We'll pay you based on the solutions suggested. --------------------------------------------------------- Before you apply - please send us 2 lines on your wifi experience and if you have come across this problem before. --------------------------------------------------------- We're looking for someone to help us with solve this puzzle of WiFi MAC Randomization for mobile phones? iOS 9/10 has now fully implemented MAC randomization for probe request frames., which means iOS devices randomize their MAC addresses when broadcasting WiFi probes. Our aim is to identify a unique identifier (MAC address or something else) of a device What we are after: 1. Any way to get the MAC address of the device (knowing MAC address is randomized). 2. If not MAC address, is there any way to get any other unique identifier of a device? or combination of things ? What we dont want to do : 1. Note - We also do not want to use commonly connected-to APs such as (Universities / library / airport / Starbucks) in the hope that the device of interest has previously been connected to at least one of these, and we can provide these fake APs to capture real MAC address and then to disconnect right after. 2. These devices show SSIDs in the probe frames.

I am looking for professional who can help me with configuration of Mikrotik Router OS. I have bought for home use RBwAPG-5HacT2HnD (wap AC) and it is behind main home router which is OLD ASUS RT-N12. RBwAPG-5HacT2HnD is configured for giving WiFi only on 2.4GHz and 5GHz. No extra heavy FW rules is needed. But please do check it settings/configuration I have done as sometimes I see strange behavior on 2.4GHz. Speed goes up down all the time. Maybe it interfere with another AP in my area. So please check that. What I need is some sort of custom hotspot with following abilities: If a user connects to hotspot (2.4GHz/5GHz) it will be provided with 3h only (example). If the user disconnects after 20min, and then connects again user will have 3h-20m=2h40m. And so on. When limit is over, user needs to provide a password to connect to WiFi. The password will be valid only for 3h (example). On Saturdays/Sundays no time restrictions and no need of password. This rule is valid for selected users only (by mac? or by device type?) Time when it will be needed approx beginning of October. Thanks.

I'm looking for someone that can help me with the setup and design of my WISP in Southern Indiana. I'm expecting this to be quite a few hours and a long term job so the job will be weighed based on skills, abilities, proven track record, and hourly rate. I started this project with the help of another company who steered me wrong. I have Gigabit fiber already in the ground or being put into 12 different sites in rural areas which are all on the outside of the fence at various cell towers. After discovering that the original plan as pitched won't work I've redesigned the "big picture" to be more of a mesh design with an easement to place a cabinet physically close to where the fiber has or is being installed and bringing it into the cabinet and utilizing a short point to point to get the signal from there to a 60-80ft Rohn tower nearby. From there we'll be redistributing in various ways. Some will be dedicated symmetrical point to points rate limited to 10-100M for internet. Some may be straight ethernet services. Some may be shared 20:1 oversubscription with speeds from 30x5 to 100x20 for residential services over P2MP devices. Some will be a P2P to a device on a utility pole in a neighborhood and then a series of mesh repeaters or something similar for the neighborhood. All customers will have outside CPE. Some businesses will require static IP addresses. Others can be on DHCP. They will have their own subnets and will require a router and can optionally get one from us or their own. My original plan was to use Ubiquity equipment, edge routers, etc but I'm open to alternatives like microtik and mimosa. I'm in an area which is horribly underserved and this change is costing me a lot more than I had planned with all the towers. In each area I'll need input on what equipment needs to be deployed where to reach the people I need to reach that I can show you on a map. I'll be able to tell you what resources we have in the area like pole access, water towers, or placing our own towers and where we can do so. You'll design a network plan and drawing and required equipment list as well as and LOS requirements. We'll verify the LOS and purchase and install all of the equipment. Then we'll arrange remote access so you an configure the network routing. QOS will need to be configured for voice traffic as well. You will be for all practical purposes, our network engineer. We'll call on you for changes to the back end of the network, for helping put together the routing to make it a true "network" with load balancing between the egress sites utilizing point to point equipment between the nearest sites for each site. And we may need you for occasional calls with business customers if they need something complex. We are using Powercode as a billing and control system which uses a device called a BMU at each egress point for access control, statistics reporting, customer portal information and diverting customers to their portal when they are past due. So the network needs to be integrated with this system. I need someone who's responsive and who's a team player. Someone who can communicate well so command of the English language is important. This could very well become a direct hire position depending on how well it works out because our plan calls for rapid growth.
