We are an employer with 8-12 states where we have contractors. We acquired existing businesses in these states in 2015. We are converting them to employees, and adding them to new payroll system and need assistance in getting the exact agency details for every state that we must register in, before running payroll. Some states require previous owner information and their state account IDs, which we do not have. Someone will have to research the previous owner public records, to obtain this information. Some state agencies are rather antiquated, and you cannot register on line. Paper forms are required. You must be dependable, pay close attention to detail and be trustworthy, dealing in a “secure” environment.
