I have build a realtime video chat app on iOS. It is built using native iOS, objective c. It utilizes OpenTok for the video chat, and communicates over a Rest API to a Django backend.
The app begins the video chat at a specified time of day, selected by the user. Essentially, the user selects a the time they want the video chat to start, say 8:00 AM eastern time. Then the user will receive a local notification at 8:00 AM to accept the call.
The app them uses OpenTok tokens to connect to the proper session. After the video call, the user can rate the call and provide any comments.
The app has been developed since June and is functional. However, we are having issues with timezone handling, as the past developer modifies the time in several places across the app. This causes the app to connect to the wrong OpenTok session and sometimes at the wrong time.
I am looking for someone to improve the stability of the app to 1) make sure all calls connect to the proper OpenTok...
