I am building an interactive web mapping application for two websites/apps. I have attempted to educate myself the best I can on web mapping. I never planned to do the web mapping myself. However, I am looking for a team or individual to build my interactive web mapping application. I am in talks with leasing maps from another company that already includes much of what my maps will require. They built the tiling and host it on our map server. I have wire-frames for both websites and corresponding summaries (guidelines), completed, examples of websites to emulate, a database of my initial data sources (which I can change into whatever format would be fastest/easiest to use to build into the web maps), my business legally registered, logo completed, domains ready to purchase. I will provide all of the content for the sites....I am ready to start now. Website/App A: Website and app targeted at anglers who don't use a boat to fish. Our search engine will generate a map of the US with public access (land open to fishing) displayed in a different color than private lands. Our search engine will allow users to search for the best fishing spots on publicly accessible land to target different species. Our interactive maps will display the best areas dependent on species and other search settings in layers on the maps. These results will be generated using our algorithm of aggregated database of game information that I've created. At launch, we will allow searches for Largemouth bass, Smallmouth bass, Walleye, Bluegill and Perch (with plans to expand this range of species in the future). Additional search functions will include time of day, weather and season (these are critical to producing accurate fishing forecast maps), campgrounds, if lands are open to camping, etc. The "Pro" maps will be have an extra layer generated by aggregating data submitted by the registered users. Registered users will provide submissions on details of fishing success (Primarily the location, but also details such as time of day, date, weather, tactic). We will convert these submissions into a database format that can be most efficiently used to produce the optimized layer. The site will also include other pages with fishing advice, recipes, links to articles on other sites, etc. Website/App B: Website and app targeted at upland-bird hunters. Our search engine will generate a map of the US with public access (land open to hunting) displayed in a different color than private lands. Our search engine will allow users to search for the best hunting areas (on both public and private lands, depending on the search) to target different species. Our interactive maps will display the best areas dependent on species and other search settings in "heat style" layers on the maps. These results will be generated using our algorithm of aggregated database of game information that I've created. At launch, we will allow searches for Ruffed Grouse, Woodcock, Bobwhite Quail, and Pheasant (with plans to expand this range of species in the future). Additional search functions will include displaying guides/outfitters (may be monetized by contracts), campgrounds, if lands are open to camping, etc. One data-set that I have not yet compiled into a database which will need to be done for this, is vegetation type, as this will be critical to producing accurate map results. The "Pro" maps will be have an extra layer generated by aggregating data submitted by the registered users. Registered users will provide submissions on details of hunting success (Primarily the location, but also details such as date, weather). We will convert these submissions into a database format that can be most efficiently used to produce the optimized layer. The site will also include other pages with hunting advice, recipes, links to articles on other sites, etc. Both Sites/Apps: At launch, I will use banner adds to monetize. Users can search and use the maps for free, and may also register/create a user account if they wish. After the traffic increases and the brand is established, I will offer a paid "pro" subscription-service, that will allow paying users to to see the optimized "pro" maps, with no banner ads displayed. unregistered users of the "light" version will still be able to search and utilize the non-optimized maps and will still see the banner ads. I would like as much as possible to be developed to allow A/B testing for optimization for both sites/apps. I do not anticipate the "pro" version upgrades to happen until several months after initial launch. After the websites/apps and mapping applications are developed, I will still require ongoing updating/optimization, and I will raise pay based on performance. I have some additional incentives I can provide for compensation.

We are about to have an e-book published online and sold. My assistant helped write part of this book, and she did a good job but also made some mistakes. I need an editor/proofreader to go through and do the following: 1) Ensure that all grammar, spelling, punctuation, spacing, formatting, etc., are all correct. 2) Correct the references portions that my assistant did to correct APA formatting/ 3) Ensure proper APA formatting within all of the book. 4) Keep/change all writing in the active voice instead of the passive voice…change all writing to be in active voice instead of the passive voice. Passive Voice: The ball was hit by the boy with the bat. 5) Changing the tense out of second person (i.e., you and your) should not be in there . . . make it all the same tense. Make sense? If you are up for the challenge, contact me and let's get started! I would love to have this completed and on our website soon! :)
