We are a startup in New York City offering sports and extracurricular programs for kids and young adults. We recently hired a company to make us a website: http://www.kidsinthegame.com. It was built as a Wordpress template.
Then on our own, we installed WooCommerce, GravityForms, and other plugins to try to make a registration system. However, since the Wordpress template was not designed with these plugins in mind, the results don't look very polished (or even good). For example, see http://kidsinthegame.com/product/kids-night-out/. We need a Wordpress / PHP developer who also has graphic design skills, to upgrade our template so that registration pages appear seamless with the rest of the site.
Additionally, we occasionally need one-off pages, e.g. a new basketball program, or an afterschool program for a holiday. We'll provide text and photos, but we need you to figure out a nice layout and do the coding.
Ideally, you can also help us with third-party integrations. We are partnering with third-party summer camp and sports registration services that provide APIs that we want integrated with our Wordpress backend. This is of course more advanced, and not required, but a bonus.
Eventually, we would like you to fully manage our website, deciding development priorities, and perhaps delegating work to other hires. That is not required at this time, however.
