You will be tasked with developing a professional, interactive, user-friendly website with many different apps and tools. Much of the content is already ready for build-out. Your role is to bring it all together.
You will be provided with the following:
-Several completed Databases hosted by Knack.com. Embedding of the databases are made possible through API.
-A Webflow.com Professional account with CMS Hosting Package
-A great Webflow.com template ready for customization
-An interactive Q&A tool (such as Qhub) with API embedding capabilities
-A collection of branding tools (logos, etc)
-A small collection of articles to kick off a news section
-My vision of how I want the site to look and feel, including structure, color, and content.
Your role will be to:
-Build out each page with the content I provide which will include widgets and other tools
-Customize the site to make the template unique which will include selecting a color scheme based on existing branding colors
-Integrate all the API's that require a signed-in user together so that a SSO will grant members access to all areas
-Provide me a user manual so that I can continue maintaining the page going forward
The number of pages will be between 15 and 20 and will include, but may not be limited to:
-A home page with a twitter feed and other widgets
-A series of pages that will display the databases (5-6)
-A page dedicated to a Q&A section and possibly other interactive tools such as polls
-A page to display partner information
-A news/article page
If you have experience working with Webflow and a variety of Apps with API functionality, this probably will not be a major undertaking. The most challenging aspect may be to integrate a SSO user management tool, but for the most part you will be provided with all the ingredients to make this site come to life.
I will need your expertise to locate and recommend certain Apps that have not been identified yet (the Q&A app, SSO app) and I will make those purchases once a service has been identified.
This project aims to be a highly engaging and interactive tool for visitors. Therefore, in addition to all of the above, if certain App's allow users to "save" or "favorite" items or records, I would love for each user's saves and favorites to be easily accessed by a "member portal" after they log in. It is unknown at this time if the Apps are able to provide this feature, but if they are - and you can explain to me how to accommodate that, I will consider this as well.
