I am looking for the development of a single page, made up of 6 separate items available from websites. The pages will need to refresh the specific information every 2 minutes. It will be on a wall mounted screen with no user input available. The page will be installed on a windows based operating system with constant access to the internet.
4 of the frames will be using the tramtracker (tramtracker.com.au) website. The trams required are Tram number 12 (inbound and outbound) at stop 128, and Tram number 96 (inbound and outbound) at stop 22. The attachment shows what the pages I need integrated look like. As per the images, I do not want to include and "extra" items, only the top white box, then the box with the green and updating black columns. Do not use the "tramtracker" image in the centre as a reference as it is too small to be seen quickly.
One the frames will be using the melbournebikesharetracker.com website and more specifically the South Melbourne Market and Coventry street section of their map. I need focus kept on this area of the map (as shown in the attachment) and have the space refresh so as to keep the blue and grey circles updating to show availability of bikes. With this website, please note there is a different section of the website that has blue dots to show the location of bike stations. We are unable to use that version as it does not refresh to show availability, the company advised me to use the link shown above for the graphic representation.
The last frame will be a seven day forecast of Melbourne weather. A sample can be seen here http://www.bom.gov.au/vic/forecasts/melbourne.shtml.
In all instances I do not want to see extraneous items, only the "content" required ie I do not need to see the word "tramtracker". As a further example, with the weather, only the forecast section (7 days) on the left hand side, not the additional sections on the right, top and bottom.
When considering your design, I want you to think about what you would be able to read as you ran out of a lift in a hurry to get to work. With regard to size, think of around a 40 inch TV. We have a HDMI run of 30m and will have to boost the signal to get the image there. It needs to refresh every 2 minutes without intervention.
The attached image is ONLY to show you what the pages that need to be included look like from their source site, as there is a high likelihood you would be unfamiliar with the site. How you design it, is your call, there is nothing we can do about the colour schemes (as ugly as they are). As I said before, if you were running out the door, what would be the best way to display the information so you could see it and understand it in a hurry.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
