Netto Solutions needs a case for a small electronic device to be built from ideas and scratch. The final product should contain all the files and drawings necessary to send for a prototype to be produced (possible small 3d printing shops) . Additionally, the final product must include both a front face and a backing that allows the front to lock into place. The end result will be similar in size and dimensions to a 3M smart thermostat casing. The candidate should possess the creativity to take the project from ideas down to a drawing. They should also be willing to collaborate with multiple team members and willing to make adjustments throughout the design process. Dimension and board will be provided and PCB drawing. In the Houston Area is a big plus.

I am looking for a designer who can model a jacket in 3D for me, do a complete job. The result should be a file that I can take and go to my nearest 3D print shop and print it. The most important consideration should be the fact that there are solar cells and wires in between, you need to design it in a way that solar cells (I'll send you the sizes) are easily plugged into the jacket (and are replaceable), the wiring is attached in specific holes (or such) that you need to design and there's a pocket where the wires go. The pocket should be the size of a smartphone. This might be an ongoing project, but we need to start with one design and we'll see how it goes. Please read thoroughly and send the description of exactly what you can do and if possible references pictures. Also send any links with your works that are not included in your Upwork profile. Thank you.

Hello, First post here. I have a 3D model built in Solidworks for a small interior car part of a seat belt. This model needs a texture applied that can be 3D printed on a high resolution printer. The finish to be applied is a wrinkle or crinkle finish. The part is very small - less than 2x2" The finish only needs to be applied to the externally facing portion of the part. I am attempting to replicate a finish that I can share via email picutres. If you have a similar texture and do not need to create one, upon approval, that could be fine.

I currently have 2 full time designers and I am looking for a 3rd to help with some extra work because the business is growing. Most jobs are simple design jobs that I will send you with instructions. Work to be done in Solidworks or Inventor/Fusion/Catia but Solidworks 2014 is preferred. If you think you are a good fit please apply for an hourly position with my company. You will get maybe 3-4 jobs per week. Attached is a test job. Instructions: I need you to model this piece attached as shown. There are rough dimension shown. Other missing dimensions do not matter. You can estimate them. 1. Do not put holes on the bottom in your model. 2. In the bottom, put a door with hinges on one side and a lock on the other side to close the door. 3. The door cannot have any gaps around it. 4. Make the door swing down. 5. Make the door larger than the square opening in the bottom plate so that when it is closed the door is flush against the bottom sealing all around with no gaps. Send the edrawings file of your design. After I review it I will consider you to be hired full or time. I am looking for a freelancer that is available and responsive. My current employees answer me within an hour if I ask them a question via email. I will not hire someone that does not answer me for days. If you are not available everyday via email then do not apply to this job. Thank you, Jason

It is intended to be a medical device to measure the stiffness of soft connective tissues in the context of physiotherapy. The idea is to produce about 100 items with a 3D-printer during August 2016. With good sales production numbers may increase in subsequent years. On the photos, our first preliminary prototype can be seen in front in blue. In the background another device can bee seen which is already on the market. This alternate device is comparable but not completely identical. As you can easily recognize: the design of our new device (in blue) is yet not very appealing, in contrast to the competing product which already has a modern product design. The ultimate design which we envision for our product could be a mixture between the specifications of both shown devices. It should have a modern design; e.g. elegant curves, nice display, radiating sensor stick, and so on. Detailed information and specifications will be given during the project. This includes certain restrictions on possible angles due to the usage of our 3D printer (e.g. only angles above 45 degrees possible, not below).

Looking for help refining designs and specs for current working prototypes of a new Lego-compatible robotics platform for kids. We see the need for a system that bridges the gap between simple building sets that kids already know how to use (Lego, Kinex, etc.) and the more complex and expensive robotics platforms that are out there (Lego Mindstorms, etc.). One that allows kids to build robots by adding on to the things they already have and already know how to build. We've built a working prototype of an affordable, easy to use kit that kids can use to bring their Lego creations to life. The “Base Kit” will consist of: - Battery case - Motor module (2) - LED module (2) - Wires/Connectors - Remote control (optional based on level of effort required to develop) We will send the chosen designer CAD files of the current prototype and a list of changes we'd like to make based on feedback from a failed Indigogo campaign which you can view at: (igg.me/at/KARDS). We found that our existing version is too expensive and we are trying to change some of the components so we can offer it again at a much lower price point. We’d also like to review each of the components we've chosen including the motor, LED, wires, battery box, etc. to make sure the dimensions are right and that they will all work together as planned (and maybe give suggestions for other possibilities that might work better)
