We have some REST API docs that need improving and updating: * Improve clarity of the current documentation * bring the documentation inline with the actual API (there are some places where the API doesn't behave exactly as documented) * extend the documentation to ensure it's complete - there are currently some return fields, etc, that are not documented at all * extend language examples to cover a complete set of languages (bash, python, java, javascript, .net, ruby, php) Whilst this is a one-time project, we have a number of other APIs that are either being written or need review.

We're looking for an experienced developer and technical product manager to help us unpack our API, and then communicate that to 3rd party developers. We're building a messaging platform for franchise businesses and their customer communities (B2B2C chat). http://footprintchat.com. Much of the API is documented in some format, but not all. Additionally, we want to communicate the API to developers and to potential customers (so technical and marketing). We also want to add several layers/elements to it. To apply, write a couple paragraphs of why you'd be a good fit for this role. Share your past experiences with similar work. Finally, tell us what you think the future of API documentation is and why. Thanks! - Team Footprint

The attached Excel file "student list" is what we used when we were doing everything for our business manually. Now we have a backend which stores all the student details. we need basically the same kind of table as the Excel spreadsheet that connects to our backend and we can get information from our backend or write to it. We have REST APIs that we will provide you for all the functionalities that we need. so the admin panel should allow us to do everything that we can currently do with the spread sheet. i.e. Be able to do the following: 1.See the list of all tutors and also be able to add new tutors. The fields saved for tutors are: name, surname, home address, university address, email, mobile phone, level they are able to tutor:(years 1-12ext2), availability (days and times). 2.See the list of all active students[already assigned to tutors]. ( customer-id, parents’ name (if parent is the account holder), parent’s surname (if parent is the account holder), student name, student surname, year level (1-12ext2), phone number, address, email address, assigned tutor, payment balance) 3.See the list of students that have not been assigned to a tutor yet. 4.Be able to select a particular tutor and see all their current students. 5.Be able to search for a particular student or parent and see their details. 6.Be able to manually add students. 7.Be able to see all the details of the students that have registered but havent been able to get a tutor, and be able to get them a tutor and assign it to them manually. Basically be able to manually access, edit/ change any information that the backend has. you can use an admin template if you like.
