Seeking a freelancer to answer patient phone calls after hours between 5pm to 8pm four nights per week (Monday to Thursday evenings) to book medical appointments.
Logging on to our clinic remote desktop software in Australia, you will interact with our medical appointment software to enter new patient details and book appointments.
You will search our appointment diary for available spots and negotiate with the patient a date and time that suits them. You will explain details of the practice, the clinic address, the fees, and the need to obtain a referral from their family doctor.
Fluent English - mandatory
Minimum 1,000 hours worked in Job History and/or 100% Job Success rate - mandatory
Skype experience, HD headset, own computer
Experience with remote desktop use and technical expertise
Broadband internet access
Availability during the relevant hours to answer a minimum of 95% of calls within 3 rings
Experience with medical appointment bookings or as a medical receptionist
Need to sign binding confidentiality agreement
Our existing receptionists and manager will train you in our systems and scripts.
We envisage this role will be ongoing for many years, and will prefer a candidate who is likely to remain committed to this job long term.
Initially your role will be limited to making new patient appointments and we expect only a few calls a week. We hope if you can make a success of the role that would increase to 5-6 calls a day and eventually, after 6-12 months once you have demonstrated an in depth understanding of our business, the role will be expanded to deal with existing patient enquiries.
Your application should include details of any medical industry experience you have, as well as provide evidence of a high level of experience using Skype or a similar service to manage multiple phone calls at once.
