Hello. My name is Case and I'm a drummer, producer, and performing artist. I have a pretty complex live show with computers, electronic drums and various MIDI controllers. I need someone to help me prepare the music for this set! Specifically, I need someone to organize audio samples and program drum racks in Ableton Live. I'm looking to create a working relationship with someone who is proficient in audio editing and very organized. We could negotiate an hourly wage or pay on a project-by-project basis.
In more detail - I would provide an Ableton set with a bunch of tracks loaded up with audio clips. These clips/samples will have been assigned warp markers. You would essentially go through a process of right clicking each clip, and slicing these samples to a drum rack (following the markers I've provided). Then within each drum rack, you would map various controls, set chokes for each pad, and perform other organizational tasks. Once all the drum racks are complete, you would import them all into an instrument rack and assign a unique chain number for each using the chain selector. I would provide a detailed step-by-step guide on how to do this, including screenshots.
This task consists mostly of clicking through drop down menus and selecting commands from the drop down menu. This task does not require advanced audio knowledge or expertise. A working copy of Ableton Live software version 9.5 is necessary.
