The ideal candidate will have: * Proven experience with CAD tools such as Autodesk Fusion 360 or Inventor * Proven experience in manufacturing of prototypes and/or small series * Keep final cost in mind at all times: Recommend using off-the-shelf components whenever available * Knowledge of how machining works to optimize the design for lower manufacturing costs * Knowledge of pros and cons of various plastics and metals, as well as finishing options

I have existing 3D Studio Max models of a small Point-Of-Sale terminal (dual-side-LCD) and a Blackjack table that the POS mounts on for use by casino personnel. I am seeking proposals for two different deliverables that can be done as one job or two jobs. 1) The first deliverable is a 3D-VR interactive viewing module that can stand alone or be embedded in my client's website. I want the viewer to be able to rotate, zoom and explore the device and the table it sits on; Ideally the visuals can include the card placement and gambling chip stacks but that could be optional. Ideally, I would like to simulate activation of some of the on-screen Tiles (applets) which would open secondary screens - (simple zoom-out/in effect?). There are probably 12 tiles each with a secondary screen. All screens will be provided as will the 3D models, textures, etc.. Good mood lighting will be important. 2) The second deliverable will be an animated tour - essentially a scripted tour similar to the above but not interactive. This animation will be approximately 2-minutes in length. The work will be contracted on an hourly basis but a clear and accurate estimate must be given for each module in your proposal. Also, all proposals MUST INCLUDE SAMPLES of the type of work I am seeking. All layered, unlocked working and final files must be transferred to me upon delivery along with a full assignment of rights and ownership of the design and all elements; this will also be required in the form of a separate document to be signed before final payment. Finally, the finished product may NOT be used online as a sample of work without my express approval - which may not be given due to client confidentiality. I look forward to receiving your proposal. We are hiring a professional 3D & Environment Artist. This is a medium-term contract position, for roughly 3 months (full-time), with possibility of extension afterwards. You would be required to attend online review meetings 1-2 times per week (each review meeting takes ~2 hours) with our game development team. We are working on an iPad game set in a magical world at war. If you’re into fantasy worlds, magic, dragons, magical beasts, epic cities and castles, you should apply for this job. You will be building assets for war-torn magical forests, ice worlds and lava lands. The primary task you will be involved in doing will be translating some of our world concept art into playable maps and map assets. Basically, you will take images (like the one attached), and turn them into tile-based components that we can build game levels from. You should have the following skill set: - 3D modelling & texturing of in-game environment assets. - Making tile-based assets for isometric games. - Modifying existing assets to fit with our game style. - Passion for fantasy & magic themed games. When applying, please provide the following: - Why you think you’re the right person for the job in your application. - A link to your online portfolio or samples of your work in PDF. Thank you! Good luck! Thomas
