I have a directory full of CSV files that contain multiple columns of data. What I need to do is edit every CSV file to remove the first row, then delete all of the columns except the first column. So if I can point it to a directory, it will just cycle through and "cleanse" my CSV files the way I want.

Looking for a PHP developer to assist with developing a bash/shell script that does a few very specific tasks. Final product should be a PHP file that can be ran and accessed through the command line. The 3 main features of the script are: - search/replace - removing code segments - removing specific comment segments (but not code) More details and examples of both the desired functions are below. These features should implemented using a PHP script a shell script will access. For the details/example below we will reference this script as "build.php" -------------- Feature #1: Search/Replace -------------- Should be able to run on a specific file OR on all PHP files, recursively, in a directory. Example #1: php build.php sr "Version 1.2.1" "Version 1.2.2" This would search ALL PHP files (recursively, down all directories), and replace all occurrences of "Version 1.2.1" with "Version 1.2.2". Example #2 php build.php sr "Version 1.2.1" "Version 1.2.2" config.php This would search config.php, and replace all occurrences of "Version 1.2.1" with "Version 1.2.2" -------------- Feature #21: Removing code segments -------------- This function should remove all code/text that is contained within special identifier comments. Should be able to run on a specific file OR on all PHP files, recursively, in a directory. Example #1: php build.php code This would search ALL PHP files (recursively, down all directories), and remove the code segments. Below is the format and example: <?php //test.php echo "one"; echo "two"; echo "three"; echo "four"; //---- @START EXCLUDE ----// echo "five"; echo "six"; //---- @END EXCLUDE ----// echo "seven"; echo "eight"; ?> After running this 'code' function the file should look like: <?php //test.php echo "one"; echo "two"; echo "three"; echo "four"; echo "seven"; echo "eight"; ?> Note ALL LINES between and including the identifier comments have been removed. Example #2 php build.php code config.php This would do the same as above, but on the config.php file only. -------------- Feature #3: Removing indentifier comment segments -------------- Should be able to run on a specific file OR on all PHP files, recursively, in a directory. Example #1: php build.php comments This would search ALL PHP files (recursively, down all directories), and remove the comment identifiers ONLY. Below is the format and example: <?php //test.php echo "one"; echo "two"; echo "three"; echo "four"; //---- @START EXCLUDE ----// echo "five"; echo "six"; //---- @END EXCLUDE ----// echo "seven"; echo "eight"; ?> After running this 'comments' function the file should look like: <?php //test.php echo "one"; echo "two"; echo "three"; echo "four"; echo "five"; echo "six"; echo "seven"; echo "eight"; ?> Note ALL identifier comments have been removed. Example #2 php build.php comments config.php This would do the same as above, but on the config.php file only. Please let me know if you have any questions or need clarification. I can provide specific code samples for testing. Thanks.

The Human Connectome Project data is available on AWS S3. There are almost a 1000 subjects worth of data available and many of the open source tools that can be used to process the data are optimized to use GPUs if available. The project would involve running the scripts to start a starcluster that utilizes our custom AMIs, that would be capable of processing a new subject worth of data in as short a time as possible using these GPU instances.
