I need one or more assistants to help with a variety of projects. Some examples of the work you would be doing include:
-Copying data from websites and other sources into a spreadsheet and formatting the data
-Writing website content/blog posts, a basic understanding of HTML and Wordpress would be very helpful
-Performing market research in a variety of industries
-Doing basic editing of images in Photoshop or another image program
-Reviewing RFQ's and writing professional proposals, primarily in the IT sector (i.e. quotes for servers, technical support services, etc).
-Researching and contacting suppliers and vendors in a variety of markets and countries
The ideal candidate will:
-Be a native english speaker. If english is your second language you must have exceptional written english skills
-Have a proven history on Upwork with a good rating from past employers.
-Be comfortable working with Google Drive, specifically documents and spreadsheets. My entire business is run through Google Drive and you must be able to use it without a lot of training
Skills that are not required but would be very nice to have include:
-Being able to communicate in other languages, specifically mandarin, japanese, arabic, german, french, russian, or spanish.
-Advanced spreadsheet skills (i.e. knowing how to use the following commands would be great: VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, CONCATENATE, etc)
Full training will be provided, but if you have experience in any of these jobs it would be very helpful.
This will be a part-time position (approximately 2-10 hours per week) to start but could quickly grow to 30-40 hours per week once you prove yourself.
