I am interested in updating and adding to an existing medical device known as the NeuRx Diaphragmatic Pacing System (DPS). This system allows quadriplegics and persons with ALS to breathe independently of conventional mechanical ventilation. The DPS uses a fixed number of pulses per minute, which works well, but does not allow the user to experience fluid control over his or her speech pattern. My intent is to reengineer the electronic control box that regulates varying inputs and to incorporate a pressure sensor into it. This will allow the user to draw breaths as needed, rather than waiting for the next pulse. I am doing this for personal use only and have no plans or intent to bring thing to market.

I am developing a dynamic lighting system and will need an experienced programmer to be able to code in various customizations within the system. I want to mimic the rise and fall of the sun using artificial light (LED RGB addressable strip) as closely as possible. Therefore on every hour the light will brighten or dim depending on the time in the day. The lights system will cycle through this 12 hour daylight period with 12 different colours depicting the sun and its natural morning, noon or evening light. The light will need an internal clock programmed into it. To track time and produce the right type of light at the right time when it is turned on. Amongst this I would like the user to have some control by developing a phone application to control the colors if they choose to do so. This can be done via a Bluetooth or WIFI connection. control buttons (on/off, bright/dim, color) for the light. The Strips are to be programmed to 6500K blue-rich white light (mid-day sun), to 1800K amber white light (fire/evening light) I need someone who is willing to code all this up! I'm personally not that experienced in this area so initiative will be a plus just run it by me before doing so. Will discuss in full details once best applicant is suited.
