Growing San Francisco Plaintiff's firm specializing in consumer protection seeks paralegal to work with the principal attorney.
Tasks will include: Case initiation and routine filings in state and federal courts; phone, email, and other written contact with clients; preparing legal forms and other documents, including discovery responses; online research; case tracking; and some general administrative support to the principal attorney. Training will be provided as necessary.
Primary qualification is an interest in Plaintiff's-side civil litigation and in representing consumers in particular. Candidates should be be detail-oriented, articulate, personable, and resourceful.
Candidate must also have sufficient knowledge and proficiency using Microsoft Office and other basic software within a legal setting. Appropriate candidates need some experience working in a law firm and a B.A. or B.S. from an accredited educational institution. Paralegal certificate not required.
