We have 4 corporate blogs and need someone to post curated content. This person would be responsible for selecting a related article to curate then re-writing the headline to make it more catch, replacing the image, writing a synopsis of the article, writing a closing, linking to the original post and adding a Call To Action. We have curation software that makes all of these functions easier for the person curating. The software will cut the time down per post significantly. Our goal is to start with one excellent curated post per day for 3 of the sites and 2 posts a day for 1 of the sites. In addition, we would our curation manager to also manage the guest blogging platform that we are launching, which is one of the 4 sites mentioned above. The responsibilities would include reviewing and approving new posts, answering questions, making comments, interacting with guest bloggers and general blog management. Huge project and for the right person it's many months of part time work (though I stuck it down for a brief period to try each other out). You need editing skills and research skills. The key is to somehow translate the complex material into the most idiot proof terms but using the reference material to carefully document it all. The accompanying document is the tip of the iceberg. Background hormone knowledge and medical writing skills (translated into layman-speak) appreciated. This stuff will go on a wordpress site once we get it whipped into shape but you don't necessarily need those skills. If you have a medical background it would help. The first step is to take 3 inches of electronic syllabus information and get a typist to put in the references from it and the annotations. This might be done partly by OCR if you really know what you are doing.
