Looking for an English-speaking web developer to assist a junior-level developer for these tasks, as well as potential real-time screen-sharing and discussions. Below are 6 things I need help with in order of priority (#1 and #2 primarily). This gig has the potential for becoming an on-going position as new projects come up each month. Linked below are code snippets so you can preview.
You will: be given FTP account access for the subdomain, need to add your IP address to the htaccess allow access from your location, need to annotate and include explanations changes in the code with (e.g: <!-- upwork: changed this to that -->) so that I can identify and understand them.
FILES: /soho-little-italy-chinatowntour.php Line #372, and /blogroll.php
CODE SNIPPET: https://justpaste.it/umht
A) I want this to blogroll section to lazy load when user scrolls down to the bottom of the page, otherwise don't load.
B) The "Read More" button loads 3 more blog posts on each onclick. Posts should fadeIn(300) . If no more posts exist to load; show "You have reached the end" text underneath button.

- The production site's htaccess file was copied and pasted into the subdomain, but it didn't work, so some rules needed to be commented out and changed in order to get the subdomain to work, but I'm not exactly sure what the rules that were commented out do. Please add comments to htaccess to explain what they do and if they are necessary.
3) CARDS / JQUERY:
FILES: index.php and /js/homepage.js
CODE SNIPPET: https://justpaste.it/umi3
On the homepage (index.php) there are 3 large rectangles ("NEW YORK NEIGHBORHOOD TOURS, STATUE OF LIBERTY TOURS, ONE DAY INTENSIVE TOURS) that when clicked, loads the "cards" underneath them. I'd like the cards to fadein(300) instead of loading instantly, so that it looks more "smooth" as they load.
4) JQUERY / PHP QUESTION:
FILES: "Swiper" jquery at bottom of /soho-little-italy-chinatown-tour , the include function on Line #255, _swiper/soho-little-italy-chinatowntour.php, and the plugin /js/swiper.min.js
CODE SNIPPET: https://justpaste.it/umi6
I'm using a jquery slider. Currently, as each additional jpg is added into the swiper's folder, it also needs to be manually added into the HTML/PHP code. Question - Is it possible for PHP to automatically detect all jpg's in a subfolder, and load them into the slider without having to manually add another <div> element into the slider on the page? Or is this only possible with SQL? If possible with PHP, then how would alt text be added in for each image?
5) PHP/ CMS QUESTION:
What's the "lightest" way to have the benefits of a CMS without using one? This site has just 12 main product pages that are mostly static. However, occasionally the template may be updated. With the code and content mixed as it is now, this gets cumbersome. Is there a best practice for storing content in PHP variables and echoing the values later in the page, or some other approach to separating the content from the code? Are any of the following a good solution: markdown CMS's like Grav or Jekyll, or PHP frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, or something else?
6) CSS: (For a different site.)
https://911groundzero.com/book-911-tour (screen #1 - contains unwanted elements)
https://911groundzero.com/book-private (screen #3 - contains a calendar but it is being hidden. I want it to be visible)
A CSS property (display:none) is being globally applied in a custom stylesheet to a selector (<inline style sheet> Line #88: form > table > tbody > tr > td:nth-child(1) ) in a booking application (Bookeo) in order to hide some unwanted elements. However, because this class selector is not unique (nor an ID), it inadvertently hides an element, a calendar, that I want to be visible on another screen. How can I have the calendar be visible in one Bookeo screen, but still hide those unwanted elements in another screen? A screenshare may be necessary to explain this more clearly.
