Respond to technical inquiries from prospects and customers about the products, pricing, shipping and delivery. The company is a new unit of an established business and sells primarily to OEMs and distributors. The products include battery jump starters, solar chargers and batteries for land mobile radios. There are several existing accounts and expect rapid growth. Customer and prospect inquiries would be very occasional at first and grow as new accounts are added. I have a product that has LED EL wire that surrounds the product. The product has a wire that goes to a control box with two AA batteries. The control box has a button to turn on the LED. I'd like to change this so that it the product can be charged using a USB or a plug instead of batteries. In addition, I want the button to be on the product itself (instead of on the control box).

Due to the increase in our workload, we require an experienced electrical project manager to come onboard and take management of our teams and projects. We deal with Hazardous Areas and operate currently in Australia. Our team is comprised of both local and off shore teams, each a specialist in their own right. Being a start up, we require someone that has a proven track record of managing staff correctly (we take on the same philosophy as Work Rules by Laszlo Block from Google HR), being accountantable for their actions to both upper managment and the team. We are looking for someone that thrives on working for a smaller boutique team, with a can do attitude to create a positive inclusive culture that promotes hard work and fun. Creating and implementing change will also be a common occurance as we wish to stay competitive in this sphere for a long time, researching and adopting new technologies to make life easier for all. So if you are up for the challenge of your life we would love to hear from you! Good hunting!

Looking for someone to do Short Circuit, Coordination, and Arc Flash Studies. We have immediate need for a study to be performed. In addition we are an electrical service provider and we run into these from time to time on jobs. We have lost our study provider and are looking to outsource this service. Not all the studies will need a PE stamp, but if you have the ability to Sign and Seal the study with a Professional Engineering Stamp for a Professional Engineer licensed in the United States please let us know (and provide a flat fee should the PE stamp be required). We have the ability to do this in-house but this would add time and cost on our end as the PE would need to review before he stamps. Job Requirements: 1. We will provide all information required (cable lengths and sizes, equipment 1-line, breaker types, etc.). 2. You would need to provide SKM or ETAP software and perform the study. 3. We would expect you send us both the study in PDF format and the SKM or ETAP model for our use and review. 4. In addition to the software print out we would need you to provide a 1 to 2 page written report with discussions of problems notes in the system (i.e. breakers that do not coordinate, high arc-flash levels, etc.). In you proposal please provide the following: 1. Hourly rate to perform the study. 2. Additional cost for a PE stamp on each study (if you have that ability). 3. If you have any example studies you have performed please let me know. Thank you.
