hi, I have a carport that needs a roof. I have a company that I have contacted to engineer and build the roof for me, but the roof sheeting and some other items they do not stock- and I would like to buy these from another company. The problem is, I do not know how much to buy. I cant work out how much material would cover the roof as there is a 20 degree slope on the roof plus roof sheeting needs to be cut, there needs to be a little bit more for waste, sheets will overlap etc- its confusing for me. In total there is 3 building products that need to be worked out and measured out etc. I will supply measured detail for the raw product as well as the cost to buy it from the store, you would then work out how much I would need to buy, as well as how much it would cost me. The three items are roof sheeting, battens (you may call them purlins) and also ridge capping. All are steel products. I am looking at having this done within the next 2 days. Successful applicant will...

This is the first in many projects and we are looking for a long term partner. This project will require 3D modeling in SolidWorks (or similar program capable of export a stp/step file), some design work, and fabrication drawings. I would estimate this is a fairly short project, 1-2 days, potentially less. The project deliverables include: design, model and create fabrication drawings for the assembly and parts. The specific scope of work is: 1) Design and model: A 30”dia 22 degree pitch mixer paddles, 8” wide paddles. An appropriately sized shaft that will fit both the mixer paddle and the gear motor (attached stp file). Shaft length TBD, but for now we can use 8’ long. All associated misc. components needed for the assembly. 2) Download gear motor stp file from the attached zip folder and insert into assembly. 3) Create fabrication drawings for all necessary non-stock parts.Include GD&T features and tolerences, when/if applicable. 4) Ask questions if anything is not clear.
