We are looking for great designer, who will be able to create: - clean, lightweight, WEB 2.0 oriented modern design for our site; - mobile friendly, slider-based WEB-site (when the user may scroll it down). For today, we have just the concept of logo, along with the structure of the blocks for the index page and some internal pages, and will need: - to choose the best color scheme based on our requirements; - to create wireframes based on our recommendations; - to create final version of design. We dont work with people, who will try to use ready-to-go templates. We are looking for experienced designers, having good understanding about WEB 2.0, UX/UI aspects. We dont plan to update it actively, that's why no CMS is required (also for security reasons). We would welcome people, having experience in WEB 2.0, loving to design icons, as well as customized graphics. Please, provide your best works, so we can choose the most professional candidates.

Looking for a UI designer that will continue to work with us throughout that development of our new Education Management System. The full project will last at least 6 months. For this first stage, I want to to design a UI for a brief section of our "story". (I will provide a sample set of data in a google sheet. I have attached a beta version of the paper based layout that we will be inputting data from.) Upon successful completion, we will then move forward to complete the project as part of our design/programming/Back-end team. Applicants, be aware that I want you to connect this initial UI to live data in a Google Spreadsheet. (I do NOT want to develop a dB at this time.) If you can't do that, please do not apply. Thank you. -david

This addon isn't being developed anymore, but still works by changing addon.xml's python requirement (2.0 --> 2.1.0) and having wicd (wicd-curses) installed (on Linux) and removing network-manager. If you're new to wicd and trying to get it working right: run wicd-curses, Preferences > Advanced, then change from wext to nl80211. Attached add-on version that has the modified addon.xml, STOP AUTO function (which causes problems) has been removed and the no background GUI on non-confluence skins has been worked around. It doesn't close properly, and the stop auto messes things up. There's a successor addon called 'Network-Manager front-end for XBMCbuntu' but I couldn't get it to work right, so this one is what I'm going with. Addon - Addon's release/old support thread - I am using it because I need a way to configure wireless using only a game controller, which means being able to select the correct scanned network and enter the passkey with the on screen keyboard. OpenElec works great for this with their configuration utility, but I'm using it for a raspberry Pi, which is built differently and doesn't have support for gamepads (at least for the PS3 wireless controller). If there's an alternative that I don't know about, I'd love to know.

Hey, there. I need to hire a front-end developer to handle part of a project I'm working on. Basically I'd like you to produce Android Layouts based on wireframes produced by our UX designer. You will have creative leeway to suggest improvements as you see fit -- and in fact I would be happy if you had an eye for design as I believe our layouts are rather bland. I am a coder and can produce whatever code is needed to instantiate the intelligence of the layouts -- hook them up to our backend, etc. But I am not a good designer. I would like to hire someone with a flair for producing beautiful, minimal layouts using Material Design standards. We can furnish you with art assets related to our product. Note: This is a commercial project involving patented technology. Ergo the developer who takes on this project ***must be willing to sign and abide by the terms of an NDA and Non-Compete Agreement*** if he or she takes on this job. Once the NDA & NC have been signed we can discuss further details of the project. Thank you so much for your time.
