General Job Description Ability to create, implement and maintain our company’s applications’ environment with an emphasis on Java and optimizing legacy applications for JBoss deployment. Knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application server and RESTful APIs a plus. Responsible for the end‐to‐end success of the implementation of the company’s client facing APIs as well as the ongoing needs analysis, development, design, and programming. Essential Duties and Responsibilities ● Research and Development ● Operations and Support ● Work with RPG programmers to align RPG based APIs to support existing and new web services ● Update, enhance and modernize Java based front‐end solution for the company’s web services. This includes managing the entire development cycle including needs analysis, design, programming, testing and documentation ● Document current application designs, processes, planned changes and enhancements ● Responsible for web service uptime, ensuring GIT repositories are current, corporate standards and best practices for code quality are enforced, and leading the design and implementation of a continuous integration process and testing ● Automate system monitoring, job monitoring and scheduled maintenance in order to ensure the integrity of Java applications ● Develop, test and implement code and revisions in support of new Client implementations and current Client support ● Perform capacity, job and systems analysis to recommend performance enhancements. Troubleshoot system or procedural bottlenecks and recommend or code the solution Qualification Requirements ● Extensive experience with Java applications in JBoss in a Windows environment, integration of Java with non‐Java systems and applications ● Must have Database relational experience, preferably MySQL and AS400 ● Experience with JBoss required. Delivering new IT applications, based on a set of SOA based business services, using Model Driven Development and DevOps principles. The project covers enterprise and solution architecture, development methods and tooling, business rules and processes, Java applications, interfaces and integrations, and a new way of working. Within the project there’s a close cooperation between HQ Business, HQ IT department and local business units. The main project location is Breda (The Netherlands), part of the project is located in Munich (Germany). Profile: We are looking for a senior Integration Developer who can help us design, build and deliver the proposed business solutions for SOA. The job is fulltime in Breda. Strong experience in designing and applying Service Oriented Architecture principles in an enterprise level application landscape. Extensive knowledge on how to put business and enterprise architecture into elegant, working software solutions using reusable integration patterns and best coding practices. Profound experience with Model Driven Development, BPMN2.0, UML and Java. In-depth expertise in IBM Websphere Integration products (MQ, IB) and developing web services messaging (SOAP and RESTful) and familiarity with WSDLs, JSON and XML. Familiar with Java based BPML Workflow and Rules Management engines. Familiar with Agile approach and continuous delivery technologies (Maven, Jenkins, Sonar). What should you offer? Design and build governance structure for message tracking and reporting. Sharing and incorporating lessons learned in improved working assumptions and solution patterns. Build and maintain a catalogue of reusable, elegant integration solutions and patterns. Build and maintain a library of reusable, elegant software integration components. Document standards and guidelines for using these patterns and components.
