The goal is to create a script to automatically extract real vars & registers from VDR (Voyage Data Recorder) packets captured in realtime. After that you will need to expose the data as a webservice (JSON or SOAP content). It could be either a wireshark plugin or a standalone script (eg: python or java). The hard part will be to actually decode the VDR packets. We will provide an archive with the following: 1. different VDR packet captures. 2. different records of data generated by the app communicating with the VDR. 3. a compilation of configuration screen of the VDR.
