We are creating a custom online curriculum with several different types of educational media. At this point we have a very large library of educational graphics and illustrations that we have collected from a wide number of sources - hand-drawn on whiteboards, photographed at presentations, scanned from physical textbooks, and collected digitally just to name a few.
What we need is an efficient and capable designer who can take these source graphics and create original illustrations and graphics from them for our online curriculum. We would like to start off with a pilot project of just a handful of images to make sure the relationship is a good fit, but we will need several hundred different graphics and illustrations so this is a great opportunity for recurring design work.
Our top priorities are quality and efficiency. A candidate will be assessed on the quality of their work and their ability to fit brand and style guidelines, as well as their turn-around-time per batch of graphics.
Experience with recreating existing images is a plus.
Familiarity with packaging science and/or academic graphics is a plus but not necessary.
Good communication skills, project management and progress transparency is a huge plus. Our team uses Slack and Asana for communication and project management, participation on these platforms is preferred.
