Hello there! We run a software consulting shop, and we're looking for a great Swift developer to join our team long-term. We're working on some really interesting projects, and we'd love for you to be a part of it.
You'll need to be fluent in written and spoken English, as we sometimes do quick Skype calls amongst ourselves or with clients to discuss issues. We also do a lot of written communication through GitHub issues and pull requests.
You've got to be passionate about clean, well-written code. No spaghetti-code here. It's all got to be well-written and future-proof.
Modern Swift, Git, GitHub, issues, pull requests, code reviews, testing, continuous integration... that's what we're all about. You either need to know it, or be ready to jump in and learn.
If you've got experience with Android development as well, that will be an added bonus, but it's not essential. Contributions to open source is a plus too. Be sure to tell us about them. Experience with testing code is also a big plus.
We're a lot of fun to work with, and we're also family friendly.
We're fine hiring a junior, intermediate, or senior developer, but no matter where you're at, a desire to learn and grow is essential. In your bid, please give us an honest evaluation of how you'd classify yourself (junior, intermediate, or senior), then convince us that you're the one we're looking for. Tell us what sets you apart. We can't wait to hear from you. :-)
