I am a solo practitioner seeking a virtual assistant for my Social Security Disability practice. Prior legal experience is desirable but not required. Prior experience with medical records highly desired.
Please note the following job duties/requirements:
Maintain database: I utilize a cloud-based database with client, doctor and court contact information. You do not need any special program to access the database but must have high speed internet access.
Transcription: I regularly dictate notes, letters, memos, etc. I need generally dictation transcribed within 48-72 hours of being sent. When transcribing, I will indicate the format the dictation should follow-- form letters an examples will be available in the cloud database. When letters are transcribed (e.g. to a doctor's office), you may need to locate the address and fax number either from the database or via google search.
Phone handling: I may ned you to make calls to or take calls from clients or doctors offices. I utilize grasshopper -- an app which allows you to use a smartphone to make and receive calls via the app via the internet from a caller ID which will show my number and office name.
