Highland Capital seeks to expand its search engine optimization (SEO) capabilities with an individual who will work with the Social Media and Public Relations teams to add his or her expertise as well as knowledge of SEO to improve and optimize our online presence.
•Implement creative, customized, cutting edge SEO solutions in support of the firm’s online presence
•Drive continued improvement of SEO practices, ranking strategies, and on page performance
•Optimize and maintain the online search results for Highland related queries
•Clearly and concisely draft and modify web content to ensure it is best in class, up to date, and search engine optimized
•Provide insights and ideas on content and publication strategies
•Keep up to date on the latest SEO, PPC strategies and technologies and assist in improving solution offerings
•BA/BS or related business or technical degree from a well-regarded institution
•Expertise with link building, social media management and organic search engine optimization. Experience with the latest Google updates
•3+ years of experience in technical SEO and digital content
•Ability to deliver with short deadlines; quick turnaround is a must
•Strong communication skills and ability to function well as part of a team
•Experience in SEO role at a public relations firm or financial services firm preferred
•Expected to have strong conceptual and analytical skills due to the complex nature of the firm’s investment strategies
•The successful candidate must have a strong sense of pride, passion, ownership and personal accountability
