Hi, I am looking for experienced codeigniter developers to work along on freelance basis. Following are the key points that I will be looking for: 1) Should be a freelancer. Companies, small teams, etc. need not apply. I will prefer individuals who can dedicate their time to the projects. 2) Should have worked on business applications/portals and able to understand the overall architecture as provided. Looking for a very experienced API developer to make invoices from an accounting system appear as purchases in our marketing automation system, for the purpose of tailoring marketing based on purchases. We do not actually use the marketing automation system itself for handling purchases, we simply want them recorded there. Both the accounting system (e-conomic) and marketing automation system (Ontraport) have flexible, powerful APIs. The former has both an older SOAP based API (XML) and a newer REST API (JSON), some features of which are experimental. Please read about each system's capabilities before applying, so you know what you're getting into. E-conomic: https://www.e-conomic.com/developer/documentation Ontraport: https://api.ontraport.com/doc/ I am looking specifically for either a script made for a service like Zapier, or a self-hosted script using something like Node.js for more control and flexibility. It should feature a front-end GUI so API transactions can be tracked and manually handled if necessary in the case of discrepancies. Either way, the API must be robust, precise (i.e. the script must check the orders are entered accurately), and feature comprehensive error detection and correction, if possible. The code must be well structured and documented (it will be periodically reviewed).' Applicants with prior experience with the aforementioned APIs will be prioritised.

Hi, This should be a quick job for somebody who knows what they're doing. I have full root access, I'm trying to get my email to work with gmail so I need to use pop3 and SMTP. I fixed a pop3 issue, but the SMPT issue is causing me far more headaches and so far I've been unable to sort it. (I don't need you to do the gmail email part, I know what I'm doing with that as I've had it working on other servers. Just can't get it to work on this new server) -- As well as fixing the SMTP issue, if you can also have a look and make sure the server is secure and I haven't in my attempts to fix issues, made things a whole lot worse as part of this job. That would be helpful. I'm happy to pay on an hourly basis or as a fixed fee... If we work well together. I will evidently need you for further work and headaches I encounter with the VPS server, so a good general knowledge of everything that could and will go wrong with the following would be useful; # Ubuntu (I can switch to CentOS but would rather not have to go through the headache of setting everything up again) # Plesk # Apache / Nginx At some point I'm going to have to upgrade everything (it's a new server so everything's up to date) and probably find I break something in the process...
