Hello, We Need someone who can configure mikrotik routers for VPN that can be accessed through internet and a graphical user interface to access those routers using viscosity. We need random IPs which are geo targeted, for that we are placing mikrotik routers connected with 3g modems/dongles at different location according to our need. So all we have to do is configure the VPN & develop a graphical user interface (GUI) to make it user friendly. Please check the video to how it should look like: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BwZCT7-xsLvidTB2dTFJdmZSTUk We need Verizon mobile broadband IPs so we are using their modems. Project status: Concept Please feel free to contact me if you have any query at all. If you are interested to do this project at fixed price, that as well fine. we can create some milestones.

I'm looking for a network specialist to interconnect two networks with Cisco / Mikrotik or better proposal. Let me explain the attached file where you can check the problem and the goal I would like you can reach. Currently we have connected 4 offices in different cities throught private network of ISP Y. All offices can reach servers in city A. I can't check routing information inside the cisco routers in any office, due to the fact that routers belong to ISP Y, besides ISP Y takes too long to give me information about configuration or support when we have problems with interconnection between offices. So we decided to change to ISP X who would give us the service of interconnection between our offices. But there is a problem, City D is far away, so ISP X would take around 2 months to place its router in city D. In cities A, B and C, ISP X have alredy setup its router, so we could migrate city A, B and C and they would be interconnected between them. Nevetheless, as City D is going to take 2 months to have a router from ISP X, we are thinking to keep service with ISP Y so that City D can reach main office in city A where are the servers. But when packets arrives from city D to city A, they would be looking for ips of servers, but servers are in network of ISP X. By the way, routers from ISP X and ISP Y on city A are in the same room. I can't connect a cable between switch of ISP X and ISP Y, due to the fact that I would have 2 gateway with the same ip address 10.1.10.1. Besides, I can't make any change on routers of ISP Y, as I said, they have very very bad support, they would take years to add a static route. My idea to interconnect both networks and make possible that City D can reach servers on Network of ISP X woudl be the following: Configure router mikrotik 1 with ip of the servers, resend packet to next step (Router mikrotik 2) and then introduce packet to the network where servers are. In routers of ISP X, it's possible to ask ISP X to add a static route so that servers can reach network in city D 10.4.0.0/16 Another idea would be to access to router cisco from ISP Y in City A and change routing, but I don't have password of the router, as I say, it belongs to isp Y. But if you know how you can access to router and change routing, it would solve the issue soon. In summary, I need a networks experienced specialist who can make office in City D reach servers in City A taking into account the drawbacks I explained previously. By the way, I just gave some ideas to solve the issue, don't know if it would work well, but if you have a better proposal let me know. Please, avoid copy and paste curriculum as your answer, I would like to know more about your propose about this project. Remember I can read your curriculum in your freelancer profile. Thank you so much for your attention Robert

I own a very small WISP(wireless internet service provider). Currently my network is totally bridged. I want to change this to a routed network, using Mikrotik routers at each of my sites. I'm in need of a network plan, with IP usage, so I know how to lay this out. Possible help with Mikrotik configuration may be needed as well.

I'm looking for someone that can help me with the setup and design of my WISP in Southern Indiana. I'm expecting this to be quite a few hours and a long term job so the job will be weighed based on skills, abilities, proven track record, and hourly rate. I started this project with the help of another company who steered me wrong. I have Gigabit fiber already in the ground or being put into 12 different sites in rural areas which are all on the outside of the fence at various cell towers. After discovering that the original plan as pitched won't work I've redesigned the "big picture" to be more of a mesh design with an easement to place a cabinet physically close to where the fiber has or is being installed and bringing it into the cabinet and utilizing a short point to point to get the signal from there to a 60-80ft Rohn tower nearby. From there we'll be redistributing in various ways. Some will be dedicated symmetrical point to points rate limited to 10-100M for internet. Some may be straight ethernet services. Some may be shared 20:1 oversubscription with speeds from 30x5 to 100x20 for residential services over P2MP devices. Some will be a P2P to a device on a utility pole in a neighborhood and then a series of mesh repeaters or something similar for the neighborhood. All customers will have outside CPE. Some businesses will require static IP addresses. Others can be on DHCP. They will have their own subnets and will require a router and can optionally get one from us or their own. My original plan was to use Ubiquity equipment, edge routers, etc but I'm open to alternatives like microtik and mimosa. I'm in an area which is horribly underserved and this change is costing me a lot more than I had planned with all the towers. In each area I'll need input on what equipment needs to be deployed where to reach the people I need to reach that I can show you on a map. I'll be able to tell you what resources we have in the area like pole access, water towers, or placing our own towers and where we can do so. You'll design a network plan and drawing and required equipment list as well as and LOS requirements. We'll verify the LOS and purchase and install all of the equipment. Then we'll arrange remote access so you an configure the network routing. QOS will need to be configured for voice traffic as well. You will be for all practical purposes, our network engineer. We'll call on you for changes to the back end of the network, for helping put together the routing to make it a true "network" with load balancing between the egress sites utilizing point to point equipment between the nearest sites for each site. And we may need you for occasional calls with business customers if they need something complex. We are using Powercode as a billing and control system which uses a device called a BMU at each egress point for access control, statistics reporting, customer portal information and diverting customers to their portal when they are past due. So the network needs to be integrated with this system. I need someone who's responsive and who's a team player. Someone who can communicate well so command of the English language is important. This could very well become a direct hire position depending on how well it works out because our plan calls for rapid growth.

Hello I'm looking for a experienced network developer who has experience working with applications of bandwidth usage in linux like Snort, Bandwidthd, etherape, ntop, mrtg, etc. I would like to know which is the main traffic of my network http, vpn,, voip, etc. I would like to see it graphically. I've attached a file where you can see what I would like to reach. Let me give you more detail: I would configure port 1 and port 5 of mikrotik router as a switch (any ip configuration). I would connect ethernet cable from router 1 in port 1 and in port 5 ethernet cable of router 2 would be connected. All traffic between router 1 and router 2 would go through mikrotik. I wont setup ip address on port 1 and 5 because I dont want to change configuration of my network. In port 3 of mikrotik I would mirror traffic that goes through mikrotik. In port 3 of mikrotik I would connect a linux pc where a bandwidth usage linux application would be running and measuring traffic. In summary, I need a network developer who has experience working with applications of bandwidth usage in linux. He/she should recommend me a bandwidth usage monitor for linux, setup and configure it on linux pc. In case, you have a better proposal for monitor bandwidth usage, I would be happy to listen to your ideas. By the way, Please avoid copy and paste long curriculum, I prefer reading proposal, ideas, suggestions, etc. I pay more attention this kind of proposal to go next step "Interview" Thank you so much for your attention Robert
