Hello Upwork friends, I am a naturally curious person who wants to learn how to use a music production software like ableton live to create mashups of songs. I know nothing about music at all. When I say nothing, I mean nothing. I have no sense of tune, beat etc.. So I need someone with the patience to explain to me things as an absolute beginner. I am also a visual learner so I will need someone who can work with a software like Team Viewer so I can follow your instructions live. As for the types of music I want to mash up different songs from across genres and time periods but mostly recent popular songs. I know nothing about how to download music at all so I would need some help figuring that out as well. I would also need help in trying to identify the right software to use and whether it will work on my current hardware. I would be looking for 1-2 hours of instruction a week that would be broken up into 30 minutes lessons and then I would dedicate another 2-4 hours a week to practicing on my own. If you are up for the challenge and would like to teach someone something new, let's set up a time for a skype chat to see if it is a good fit. Thanks for considering and all the best! Sebastian

Suiting for a Gashapon machine, I am looking for a music composer to design and deliver a single music track as the background of an app, then a list of sound effects in the operation of a Gashapon machine: 1. A simple, relaxing track to be used as background music 2. There will need to be sound effects for the following interactions with the Gashapon machine. These sound effects can take inspiration from a game called Puzzle and Dragons: •When the user taps anywhere on the screen •When a coin is inserted into the Gashapon •When the Gashapon crank is turned •When the Gashapon crank is released •When the Gift Capsule is dropped •When the interface zooms into the content of the Gift Capsule •When the Gift Capsule is opened •When the content of the Gift Capsule is revealed

In the middle of a 3 month project where I record 4 volumes of a themed set of albums on a high priority personal project. Please see blog post below describing requirements and provide a quote for the entire work as well as per track or hour or however you prefer. I may just use you for certain tracks and others for others :) Must be able to produce high quality tracks for edit by my team. Looking for creativity and simplicity first. Thank you DAY 2 KEYLESS IN SEATTLE So I’ve been doing a lot of packing, and a lot of thinking, and a hellava lot more listening. Everything is almost perfectly aligned for this trip. This mission. This move. This album. Except one thing. And for some reason there is something deep in my gut telling me to make room and leave the keys (piano) behind. Not to bring them... Why? I ask. I really feel like I’m supposed to meet someone there who is far more skilled at the keys than I am and as supposed to bring a certain flair to this project. So willing to not invest in the equipment I took to the internet with my MacPhail Intent to find them and.. well.. let’s just say that through my light search the Seattle online musicians scene is… well.. not what I was hoping for. So I thought maybe before I try BandMix or Craigslist I’d just lay out my expectations here in hopes it finds the “right" person. So what I’m looking for in a keyboardist is: Music first. We have to relate. I want to know which of your influences I can relate to. I expect a lot out of you. It’s just my personality to hold as high as expectations of others as I do myself. I don’t mean any offense. I just want you to contribute a little. You’re a gifted artist and I need your ideas to bounce off mine. I have some thoughts but I’ll reserve them to not influence your own at first. I’m looking for some crazy shit, I mean synths. I need sounds I aint heard before. Do you make your own patches? Do you have experience in customizing filters and modulation to get your desired effects? Do you primarily use analog or digital synths? Perhaps a combination of the two? I’ve played around with some Animoog and Korgs and I’m excited about the potential. If you can dream it, you can sound it. You just gotta own it. Let's discuss what you can offer and your hourly rate. I should let you know that this is a fairly large project and will take at least 3 months, and we’ll go from there. I’m planning about 6 tops but really man I just wanna get it behind me and come home. After music I’m looking for trust, hence steering away from the craigslist. I want to jam with you and meet you before I welcome you into my studio. Oh, I like such synths as found in Portugal The Man, Iron and Wine, GOASTT, Flaming Lips and Sufjan (sp?) Stevens. Looking forward to meeting you! I enjoy long walks on the Seattle shoreline and extended hours rolling around the hay with only some microphones listening in on some harmony and a dream. Serious inquires only. Thanks TMP

Background: We are a near-launch music startup and are building a consumer app that allows users to 'Live Stream' their music listening experience - when users go live they become like a human radio - the whole world listens to what they are listening to in real time and what they play next. Think Periscope meets Instagram for music: A community of everyday music listeners, artists, music publications connecting through, and sharing good music. The Task: And so as part of our content strategy, we are setting up a music blog on our website that will be advertised through our social media channels. We want to curate a nice selection of music that doesn't need to be genre specific.. We would also like to occasionally post music industry relevant news but good music is our key focus! We need a responsible individual to take the lead for this project that would obviously bring with them a HUGE passion for music. And we'll provide the resources to set up and run a world class music blog. If you think you're perfect for this role, we'd love to hear why! No generic copy paste responses please!

Hello!! I'm going to need a lot of music video scripts. I have 3 singles currently with scenes and pics all ready to go. I have an idea of how I want the scenes played out and am open to creative input as well. The music is currently in production but I'm trying to stay ahead of the game. I can give you cues at which seconds I want scenes to switched and provide demos and full disclosure/updates until final production. I'm really hoping to meet a super fast efficient writer who knows what they are doing and the right eye so to speak to represent each frame. You should know that this will be a 3 month project and pretty much non-stop.. I will require a new script every time you finish one. Great work is rewarded with more work!

Hello! I'm knee deep in a 90 day project where I expect to record multiple albums. However, I'm doing this long distance from my band mates and need to edit / cut / and send in almost real time.. I'm looking for someone who can do you're very basic apprenticeship type editing.. Finding the takes in tune and using them.. finding the drum measures in beat and looping those... Adding fills as necessary... THAT IS ALL... At most your creative input will require some copy and paste skills. once that is proven we can talk about song construction. Can you do this? The genre is alt indie pop rock if it matters much :) *THIS IS BEING RECORDED IN LOGIC I plan to do final mixing in Pro Tools so if you could go ahead and throw it in there for me that would be perfect. I'm not playing around guys... YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PROVE YOU CAN USE LOGIC AND PRO TOOLS. NO BS. Thank you for your time
