I've put together a 6-Chapter eBook, in the form of 6 different word docs (1 doc per chapter), that has an estimated total of no more than a 2,000 word count.
What I need an EXPERIENCED eBook designer to take this collection of docs and turn it into a single, cohesive, document with the appropriate design elements to make the eBook engaging and easily readable. This means you would need to provide/include any graphics/photos/imagery/etc you would like to use. I WILL NEED TO SEE A PORTFOLIO OF ANY EXISTING WORK.
The design needs to stay consistent with our current brand, the website is http://www.feedbacc.com, so I will provide you with the appropriate logo and font to use.
I'm expecting the final work to be delivered in the form of a PDF and whatever the original source file might be (Illustrator, InDesign, whatever) so we can edit it later as necessary.
Elements that I need but are NOT currently included in the Word docs:
- Cover page
- Table of Contents
I like to work very iteratively, so I would like to see each section/chapter as they are completed so I can sign off on it before you move on to the next. What I don't want is for you to go off and do the entire thing before I've seen any of it.
One of the screening questions you will be asked when applying will be about the estimated level of effort involved in making this happen. What I'm looking for here is both the number of hours (to make sure I can afford it) and the number of days (calendar days) so I'll know when to expect the final delivery of the work. YOU MUST ANSWER THIS QUESTION, THOROUGHLY, TO EVEN BE CONSIDERED.
