We want to create a report the looks like the following: Laundry Machine Number, Number of Errors of Type Foo, Number of Errors of Type Bar.... Total Number of Errors. The report should be ordered by the total number of errors column. The report should be generated to a csv file and then emailed out to a set list. We already have a report class that handles most of the csv writing/emailing. The report needs to take a "days back" parameter that determines how many days in the past we want to aggregate over. Speed isn't a big issue, but the report should generate in less than 10 minutes. We currently have a table that contains all of the different errors along with a their timestamps. Stack is Python+Django+MySQL Doing well on this project could lead to a significant amount of work in the near future.
