Orange Pegs Media is a mixed purist when it comes to inbound marketing. On one hand, ALL of our clients come through marketing generated through our website with zero ads, and zero cold-calling. For our clients, inbound is the foundation we build upon regardless of the medium or day of the week.
However, pure inbound isn’t always the answer, and we pride ourselves on being able to blend inbound with outbound strategies like PPC and even cold calling.
Process is key, and your job is to build or update sustainable and scalable sales processes for our sales enablement clients where inbound is the cornerstone methodology for lead generation.
Work with clients in developing/improving sales processes for both inbound and outbound purposes
~Analyze existing sales and marketing processes to identify strengths and opportunities
~Create hypothesis for improving sales metrics
~Develop and implement testing mechanisms for process improvement programs
~Develop/update sales processes
~Bring alignment between sales and marketing through collaboration and regular contact with inbound and GDD project leads
~Develop and administer sales training programs
~Develop and conduct inbound and outbound sales workshops
~Lead the iteration of new ideas through team collaboration
~Provide business consulting services
~Serve as communication bridge between client and Orange Pegs
~Uncover and bring light to customer service issues
~Identify and present up-selling opportunities for Orange Pegs
For this role you will start by shadowing a senior sales enablement consultant, and be given small amounts of responsibility that will increase over time. The goal is to eventually groom you for a more senior role, and eventually be assigned to your own project where you will mentor another or move laterally or upward depending on your strengths, the mix of projects, and skills present with other team members.
You’ll work in a team environment, and have opportunities to grow as we do.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience – no entry level
• 5 or more years in b2b sales
• Experiencing managing a team of 2 or more
• Experience selling in one or more of the following industries:
• Sales coaching
• Training program development
• History of success in sales
• Ability to multi-task and manage a calendar with fluctuating hours and commitments
• Experience with customer service
• Inbound Sales Certified (offered by Hubspot)
• Inbound Marketing Certified
• Growth Driven Design Certified
• Proficiency with PC-based and online word processing applications, like Word or Google Docs
• Tech-savvy – able to embrace new software and technologies
Will consider other backgrounds if not specifically inbound marketing going into it or if you are missing the certifications, but you must have hands-on, referenced experience with the requirements listed above and be willing to go through the relevant training.
Contractor with the possibility of hire. We’ll start with a single project, which will have a certain number of hours per week available. If it works out for both of us, we’ll give you bigger projects. This works best for contractors and freelancers looking to get into something big that offers flexibility AND stability and growth.
Job may require travel to client’s premises, which could require air transportation. This is not a deal-breaker for us if it is for you; just let us know how you feel about this, and we’ll be certain to assign projects accordingly.
