I need to create a web portal. The web portal basically connects employers to job hunters. Employers will post ad hoc jobs (jobs that are paid hourly and are ad hoc in nature. For example, event related jobs, ad hoc delivery jobs etc.) and job hunters will apply for them. Version 1 - Cater to just 1 employer profile will do (Only 1 employer will be able to post jobs) - Employer will be able to post multiple jobs with the following fields (may be revised again) o Job title o Remuneration o Location o Date o Time o Number of vacancies o Category - Allow job hunters to create their profile with the following verification methods (Facebook login and SMS (will require integration of SMS API from my country)) - Only a job has been posted, job hunters will be able to apply with a click of the apply button - The employer can see all the applicants for the job and then choose who to accept for the job - Once the job has been accepted, the status of the job posting will be changed to ‘Taken’ - One day before the specific date and time when the job is supposed to take place, a SMS will be automatically fired to the applicant reminding him of the job - Two hours before the specific date and time when the job is supposed to take place, a SMS will be automatically fired again to the applicant reminding him of the job - After the job is completed, within 24 hours, an email consisting of details of the job will be sent to the employer. For instance, job title, name of applicant who took the job, amount earned by the applicant etc. - At the end of each month, a PDF report for all the jobs the employer has hired will be sent to the employer Future versions - Cater to multiple employers - All jobs will appear on a ‘Explore’ page - Able to sort and filter through jobs via category and tags - Chat system between employers and jobhunter - Ability for employers to add testimonials and reviews to each jobhunter - Payment gateway Suggested technology - I prefer a stack that can easily build this web portal up. But also need to keep in mind that i will have future functionality (see above) added. - Prefer meteor.js as I believe this portal can be built using meteor.js fast - Open to other stack suggestions as well Other details - Focus on the functionality and the backend of the portal. I know a little front end development and can work on the front end stuff. Help is mainly needed on backend, database and server deployment. - Would prefer to pay successful applicant via a milestone basis. Will discuss separately. - Looking at a mixture of experience and quality. - This is not a quick job and would prefer someone who can commit fully and regularly. - Please state if you have any relevant working experience on such a portal
