I'm looking for a detail oriented and structured Quality Assurance engineer that can write a test plan for an existing (Food Tracking) app.
You can find the apps at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.dailybits.foodjournal https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dailybits.foodjournal and
The successful candidate will be able to independently, and systematically create a test plan from scratch based on the posted apps.
As part of this job I'm not primarily interested in finding new bugs, or (repeatedly) executing the defined plan. The plan would be used to perform manual testing in the future, and should help inform the design of automated testing. Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks is helpful but not required.
When applying for the job, please detail the following:
* What constitutes a good test plan in your opinion, what are some examples of problems with test plans you have come across in the past?
* How would you structure the document?
* How long do you expect that it will take you to deliver the full product of this job, and what will it look like?
Thank you for your interest!
