I need a quick turn around and someone to format/merge data and fields in an existing Excel database/spreadsheet to match the fields in another. I also need formatting done within the database to ready it for a mailing list and mail merge documents. The database is less than 1,100 entries, with approximately 12 fields of data. The assignment will include splitting owner name field into first and last names, changing the all caps data to proper case, assuring the address field is in the correct format, etc. Here is a basic summary: The format that I need it to be in will be 11 fields, including Type (Individual or Company), First Name, Last Name, Company (if applicable), Address, City, State, Zip, APN (Real Estate Tax ID #), Property State, and Property County The existing format includes 2 owner name fields with an Owner full name (first and last), 2nd owner full name, address, city, state, Zipcode, APN, Property State, and Property County. It is also in all caps at the moment. What I am hoping is that you can 1) split the owner name field into first and last name fields. You can exclude the middle initial. If there are more than two full names with different last names, then please create a first and last name for each owner (owner 1 first name, owner 1 last name, owner 2 first name, owner 2 last name), but if they have the same last name, then please combine the fist names into one field (owner first name). Make sense? 2. All the names, addresses and cities are in all caps, and need to be put in the property format (first letter of each name capitalized, etc.). If there are apartment numbers, unit numbers, suite numbers, etc. after the street name, then there needs to be a comma between the street and the unit #, etc. I think that is pretty much it. So, I have two files: One file is the existing data in the format I described, and the other file is just a sample file (with garbage data) with the format and field names that I would like the data to be in Thanks Gary
