Please see the attached specification (a short Word document "Upwork brief for Healix styling responsive July 2016.docx", with some accompanying files).
Here is a partial extract from the specification (you must read the full specification before applying):
This work is for an established travel insurance website called Go Insurance, which is live to customers at http://www.goinsurance.com.au.
To decide if people are medically fit to travel, the site will send customers to another website called Healix, which asks them some medical questions.
Healix medical screening has two pages:
• Conditions.html: has a list of medical conditions that the customer can choose (eg Heart Attack)
• Screening.html: asks medical questions about these medical conditions
The pages have a responsive design, so that they render nicely on desktop and mobile devices.
Healix has designed its pages to be styled using CSS, so that they can be made to look like our own application, Go Insurance.
Your task is to please style these two pages by updating the CSS ONLY, and adding images for the Go Insurance logo, so that the Healix pages fit in with the Go Insurance website look and feel of the inner quote pages on Go Insurance.
FILES YOU SHOULD MODIFY
The two HTML pages themselves MUST NOT be modified, and are only here to help with the integration.
You can edit the existing styles in default.css and style.css
You can add images, including the Go Insurance logo.
You can modify the file _Layout.cshtml to include the Go Insurance logo.
WHERE THE STYLING SHOULD COME FROM
You should take the styling from the step 3 quote page of Go Insurance. (Ignore the Go Insurance homepage, it looks different to the inner pages.)
Here’s how to get to the step 3 page, where the styling comes from:
Go to http://www.goinsurance.com.au/
Request a quote and submit the page – you can fill in the home page form quote as I’ve done below
When you get the prices, click the Select button to choose Go Plus.
You will then see the step 3 page that asks for contact details. You don’t need to fill this in. This is the page to take styling from.
Your final deliverable to me is to re-compress the entire folder structure that you have downloaded from me, after you’ve made the changes, as a single zip file.
You will NOT be able to include the full Go Insurance page header, page footer, or chat box, due to not being able to edit the HTML. This is acceptable.
You MUST NOT create any new CSS files, because Healix cannot accept these. All changes must be done within the two existing CSS files.
For this task, you are free to copy any parts of the CSS and images that you find on the Go Insurance web site at https://quote.goinsurance.com.au, and this should be your preferred approach.
The pages should work with as wide a range of web browsers as possible, specifically Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Firefox, for versions going back 3 years. (I accept that the HTML pages themselves have limitations, and we cannot change the HTML, but the CSS should be compatible with as many browsers as possible.)
Images should all be self-contained within the template folder that you send to me, and stored with the other existing images in BB25GoInsAus/Images. Please do NOT link to images on the goinsurance.com.au site. (Instead, copy these images into the Images folder.)
Notice that the buttons on the Go Insurance website are white, but turn blue when the mouse hovers over them. You should replicate this effect.
You MUST NOT break the syntax of the page, which I believe is written in ASP MVC 3.0 Razor. It still needs to run correctly when loaded into the Healix test system.
Unfortunately there is no way for you or me to test the pages within the Healix system itself, since only the Healix company can upload the files into their system – sadly there is no self-service portal for this.
BEFORE YOU APPLY FOR THIS JOB
1. Fully read the briefing document
2. Download the file containing the code
3. Read the Healix documentation on page styling, included in the zip download
4. Review the HTML and CSS files
5. Look at the Go Insurance website at http://www.goinsurance.com.au/ and get a quote so you can see the inner pages. Go at least as far as the step 3 page that asks for your personal details.
6. Confirm to me that you have done all these tasks
7. Confirm that you can fully 100% comply with everything I have written in this specification (or let me know why you cannot comply with some items).
8. Let me know a completion date for when you can have this work finished.
CONDITIONS OF ACCEPTANCE
When you have finished your work, please send it to me. I will check it by opening the HTML files in a some web browsers, including mobile, then I will ask Healix to get it uploaded into the Healix system and check that it functions correctly.
PLEASE DOWNLOAD AND READ THE REST OF THIS SPECIFICATION BEFORE APPLYING.
