My company (named Oak Cove Homes) buys real estate from homeowners who want to get rid of their property quickly. A lot of times we will be helping someone get out of a tough situation. Because of that I want to convey warmth because we're helping them. I also want to convey efficiency/speed because I can get them out of their situation fast.
The last thing I want to communicate to clients is the idea of a strong foundation. A lot of real estate companies have stone or rock in their name because that conveys security and stability. I like that idea and want the sense of security to come across when people see my company (and logo).
Ultimately all of this is up to the designer. I do not need to see all three themes in the logo. If it can be done then great, but my main goal is to purchase houses from people. Whatever logo will help me do that is the one I'll go with.
I feel like most people would say this, but the minimalistic logos seem to look the best. Sleek and not messy (might mean toning back the oak tree)
I only want "Oak Cove" to be included in the name. Keep out "Homes." Ideally, I would like to have something that resembles an oak tree and something that resembles a house in the logo. I'm not sure the best placement for the house and the tree in the logo. I will leave that up to the artist's discretion. You could try to combine the house and tree somehow, put the tree behind the house, put a roof over the tree, put the tree behind the house. I'm open to ideas.
